Ph.D., Chief Technology Officer, Myriad Genetics

Biography
Kevin R. Haas joined Myriad Genetics in May 2013. Previously, he was vice president of Bioinformatics. Today he is responsible for building Myriads precision medicine platform to improve the patient/provider experience through digital engagement, harnessing genetic data, and powering breakthrough products to serve millions of customers. Dr. Haas also serves on the Board of Directors and is vice president for USA Triathlon, the non-profit national governing body for the sport. Dr. Haas received a B.S. from University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from University of California-Berkeley, where he worked on molecular simulation and machine learning to study protein dynamics from single molecule fluoresce. He has co-authored 16 peer reviewed publications and ten patent applications.
