Biography
Dr. Bizzo leads collaboration efforts with industry on AI product development and performance evaluation, including regulatory submissions, as well as clinical AI implementation with impact assessment and governance. Dr. Bizzo is a trained diagnostic radiologist with over 7 years of experience successfully overseeing the co-development of several AIbased products between MGB and industry collaborators. In 2020, he launched the MGB Digital CRO and has led the design and conduct of multiple clinical investigations to support successful FDA clearances of imaging based AI products. He also created and runs the MGB AI Imaging Governance Committee to oversee the clinical implementation of AI solutions across MGB.

Biography
Dr. Yandell is a Professor of Human Genetics, founding Director of the Utah Center for Genetic Discovery, and Chief Data Strategist for the University of Utah Hospitals program for Personalized Health. As such, he lead the institution's efforts to improve patient care using Whole Genome Sequences (WGS) and Electronic Health Records (EHRs). These efforts have been widely supported by the NIH and the American Heart Association, and have resulted in innovative techniques and software, including Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications. Now, in collaboration with Rady Children's Institute for Genomic Medicine and Fabric Genomics, they have developed GEM1, the first AI-based tool with the complete suite of features required for rapid, scalable diagnosis of critically ill children in the NICU and PICU. GEM is now integral to genome-based diagnosis programs at the University of Utah, at Rady Children's Hospital, and at the Broad Institute.

Biography
Sylvia Plevritis runs a research program that applies data science to the study of cancer systems biology and patient outcomes. She is focused on reverse engineering cell-cell interactions in the tumor micro-environment, from single cell sequencing and multiplexed imaging platforms, in order to identify biomarkers and drug targets and aid in treatment planning. She is a PI with the NCI Cancer Intervention Surveillance Network, an NCI consortium of investigators who use simulation modeling to improve our understanding of cancer control interventions in prevention, screening, and treatment and their effects on population trends in cancer incidence and mortality. These models have been used to guide public health research and priorities, and aid in the development of optimal cancer control strategies. She is a fellow of the American Institute for Medical and Biological Engineering and Distinguished Investigator in the Academy of Radiology Research, and serves on the NCI Board of Scientific Advisors.

Dr Cucina is Vice President, Genetic and Genomic Services, and Chief Medical Information Officer, for the UCSF Health system. Working with the Chief Genomics Officer, he is responsible for the strategy and operations of UCSF’s clinical genetic and genomics laboratories and services, and for the analytics, software, and information infrastructure to further the missions of UCSF Health. Dr. Cucina is board certified in Clinical Informatics and Internal Medicine, and practices in Hospital Medicine at UCSF’s Parnassus Campus.

Shweta is a proven commercial executive, and leader, who brings extensive operating experience spanning digital health technology, pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology. Prior to joining Google, she led market growth strategies relevant to technology accelerators for therapies and diagnostics at Genentech, where she received multiple awards, including two Innovation Awards and the MVP Award. Shweta currently serves on the board of directors for Orthofix (NASDAQ: OFIX), a global orthopaedic and spinal technology company, and for RXSight (NASDAQ: RXST), an ophthalmic medical technology company. She is a 2023 PharmaVoice 100 honoree.

Dr. Kalafut advises on AIML topics ranging from product management to market strategy with a healthcare application. Additionally, he works with HCOs to develop AI strategies, AI Governance and best practices, through deployment and monitoring of purchased and built AIML solutions. He is the principal or co inventor on 43 US patents and 12 pending applications. Many of his inventions are used across nuclear medicine and radiological agent delivery, diagnostic interventional cardiology devices, and patient monitoring systems. Before founding Asher Orion, John was Chief Scientist of Informatics Research at GE Healthcare. His stewardship of an AIenabled, diagnostic pathway solution led to their first Breakthrough Designation. He led the architecture of platforms and applications co created by GE Healthcare and its clinical partners at health systems, including Mass General Brigham and Boston Children’s Hospital. John contributed to the UK's National Consortium of Intelligent Medical Imaging (NCIMI) and was a coPrincipal Investigator on Digital Pathology and Diagnostic (DART).

Steven Lane is a practicing primary care physician and clinical informaticist who currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer at Health Gorilla, a health data interoperability platform company supporting one of the first Qualified Health Information Networks (QHIN) as a component of the new federal Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA) data exchange framework. Dr. Lane has more than 30 years of experience in clinical informatics and has worked on several initiatives related to the implementation and optimization of electronic health records (EHRs) and health health data interoperability. Dr. Lane is a recognized expert in the fields of health information exchange and data privacy.

As Executive Director of Carequality, Alan Swenson guides the development and implementation of the Carequality Interoperability Framework, the leading, nationwide trusted exchange framework enabling health data sharing across and among different types of networks and service providers. Alan also leads Carequality in supporting The Sequoia Project as the Office of the National Coordinator for Health ITs (ONCs) Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA) Recognized Coordinating Entity (RCE). Alan has spent more than a decade focused on health IT interoperability. Before leading Carequality, he helped lead an exponential increase in patient record sharing through direct collaboration with hundreds of healthcare systems and provider organizations, EHR vendors, HIEs, HISPs, PHRs, payers, government agencies, and other digital health platforms. He has also volunteered with The Sequoia Project, National Association for the Support of LongTerm Care (NASL), CommonWell Health Alliance, DirectTrust, National Quality Forum, and HIMSS, among other industry interoperability initiatives.

Biography
Tomasz is a passionate mathematician turned data scientist, specializing in life sciences and biomedical applications. His research experience, ranging from wet lab experiments to rigorous theorems, has allowed him to push the boundaries of computational biology with novel discoveries in information theory. However, Tomasz's true calling was working at the forefront of AIdriven drug discovery. He has an impressive track record of successful projects in biology, bioinformatics, target identification, and drug repurposing, collaborating closely with pharmaceutical research scientists and internal programs. Tomasz specializes in extracting insights from large biological and biomedical datasets. He played a significant role in developing a comprehensive AI system for target identification, and was part of the preclinical team that delivered the first end to end A drug to the clinic. Currently, Tomasz leads the Data Science Center of Excellence at Ardigen, where he oversees and drives the company's data science and artificial intelligence initiatives.

Biography
Dr. Snyder received his Ph.D. training at the California Institute of Technology and carried out postdoctoral training at Stanford University. He is a leader in the field of functional genomics and multi omics, and one of the major participants of the ENCODE project. His laboratory was the first to perform a large scale functional genomics project in any organism, and has developed many technologies in genomics and proteomics. Seminal findings from the Snyder laboratory include the discovery that much more of the human genome is transcribed and contains regulatory information than was previously appreciated (e.g. lncRNAs and TF binding sites), and a high diversity of transcription factor binding occurs both between and within species. He launched the field of personalized medicine by combining different state of the art omics technologies to perform the first longitudinal detailed integrative personal omics profile (iPOP) of a person, and his laboratory pioneered the use of wearables technologies (smart watches and continuous glucose monitoring) for precision health.

Harlan Robins is a CoFounder of Adaptive Biotechnologies, a commercial stage biotech company that aims to translate the genetics of the adaptive immune system into clinical products to diagnose and treat disease. Prior to cofoundingconfounding Adaptive, Harlan served in various roles at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center (FHCRC) in the Computational Biology Program, including Assistant Faculty Member, Associate, and Full Member and Head of the program. Interested in the mathematics behind genetics and observing the potential utility of high level mathematics to study problems in the biological sciences, Harlan took a postdoctoral appointment at the Institute for Advance Study in Princeton under famed biologist Dr. Arnold Levine. With Dr. Levine, he concentrated on developing bioinformatic algorithms for micro RNA targets and bacterial genome analysis, a precursor to his faculty appointment at FHCRC in the Computational Biology Group, Public Health Sciences and Human Biology Divisions.

Neil joined Optum through the acquisition of Change Healthcare in October 2022, where he served as president, chief executive officer, and a member of the Board of Directors. Change Healthcare was acquired by United Health Group for $13 billion. Before joining Change Healthcare, Neil was senior vice president and general manager of Oracle's Global Health Sciences business. Prior to joining Oracle, he spent a decade at IBM Corporation. Julia Adler Milstein is a renowned health IT researcher at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). She is a Professor in the Department of Medicine, Chief of the Division of Clinical Informatics Digital Transformation, and Director of the Center for Clinical Informatics Improvement Research. Dr. Adler Milstein's research focuses on the intersection of health information technology and healthcare delivery. She has conducted extensive work on the impact of EHRs and interoperability on clinical workflow, patient safety, and healthcare quality. Her research has been published in numerous high impact journals, including the New England Journal of Medicine, Health Affairs, and JAMA. Dr. Adler Milstein also serves as a consultant to federal and state agencies, including the Office of the National Coordinator for Health Information Technology and the California Department of Health Care Services. She is a member of the National Academy of Medicine and serves on the Board of the American Medical Informatics Association (AMIA).

Phenome Health is well positioned to deliver a new paradigm in healthcare based on prediction, prevention, personalization, and participation, and is intended to address several healthcare challenges: significantly improve health outcomes; facilitate brain health; increase cost effectiveness; reduce the chronic disease burden; promote healthy aging; and enhance U.S. leadership in medical innovation. Pavan is a Principal in the Boston office with a focus on Oncology and Precision Medicine. He co-leads ZS’ Biomarker Center of Excellence and works extensively with clients in the area of Precision Medicine. Over the last 12+ years at ZS, Pavan has focused on supporting Oncology companies across a full spectrum of medical, marketing and sales challenges. With experience working in most tumor types in Oncology, he brings deep therapeutic area expertise in Oncology. He has helped companies assess organization structures, develop commercialization strategy, segmentations, design forward looking local and global commercial models to successfully navigate the rapidly evolving Oncology market dynamics. With expertise in Precision Medicine and Oncology, Pavan has helped clients with market landscape and opportunity assessments, disease area strategy, and brand strategy including positioning. In addition, he has partnered with Oncology diagnostic companies across a range of engagements including portfolio strategy development, sales planning, customer segmentation, and competitive assessment. Dr. Murray is a strategic health system leader for clinical informatics, digital health, and data science. She strives to leverage healthcare data in new and impactful ways to support improvements in quality, safety, and value for patients and providers. She has a focus on predictive analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) in healthcare, and her team has built infrastructure and governance processes to ensure deployment of ethical and robust AI. Her team evaluates commercially available tools and algorithms for trustworthiness prior to implementation and develops new machine learning models to address pressing health system problems. She is responsible for the overall strategy and vision for the use of AI to transform healthcare delivery at UCSF Health and beyond. She spends her clinical time caring for patients and teaching medical students and residents on the Hospital Medicine service at UCSF Health.

Dr. Eric Walk is head of the PathAI Medical group, overseeing the PathAI Diagnostics pathology team. Eric has over 20 years of experience in precision medicine, oncology drug development and IVD companion diagnostics development. Prior to joining PathAI, he was Chief Medical and Scientific Officer at Roche Tissue DiagnosticsVentana Medical Systems, where he led Medical Scientific Affairs, overseeing the development and FDA clearance approval of over 20 510k and PMA IVD assays, companion diagnostics and digital pathology algorithms. Eric began his industry career at Novartis Oncology, where he held positions in Early Clinical Development and Translational Medicine. Eric is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Johns Hopkins University and holds a MD degree from the University of Virginia School of Medicine. He is board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology and is a Fellow of the College of American Pathologists (CAP). He currently is a member of the CAP Digital Computational Pathology Committee.

Charles Jaffe is the CEO of HL7 International. He completed his medical training at Johns Hopkins and Duke Universities and postdoctoral training at NIH and the Lombardi Cancer Center. He served in various academic positions in the Departments of Medicine and in the School of Engineering. Previously, he was the Senior Global Strategist at Intel, led a national research consortium, found a consultancy for research informatics, served as the VP of Medical Informatics at AstraZeneca, and the VP of Life Sciences at SAIC. He was the contributing editor for several journals and has published on clinical research, informatics, and healthcare policy.

Michael joined Roche Diagnostics in 2006 and has been Lifecycle Leader for Digital Pathology since October 2015. In this role, he leads the Digital Pathology team in Santa Clara, California to develop and commercialize the Digital Pathology portfolio of products and technology for Roche. Michael also is a Past President of the Digital Pathology Association and has been a member of the DPA Board of Directors since 2015. Michael has held a number of sales and marketing leadership roles at Roche and is passionate about the opportunity to transform cancer diagnostics with Digital Pathology.

Jason Fenwick leads business development worldwide for genomics at NVIDIA, with a focus on enabling shorter turn-around-times, increasing throughput, and lowering sequencing analysis costs. By partnering across the ecosystem with leading life science cloud platforms, sequencing instruments, high-throughput sequencing centers, and diagnostics labs, Jason works to democratize genomics and enable precision medicine. He has been on the Healthcare and Life Sciences team at NVIDIA for the past 5 years, rediscovering his passion for the biological sciences after four years at Corning utilizing his materials science degree from Cornell University.

This involves integrating and analyzing diverse data, such as genomic data and electronic health records, to extract critical insights for diagnosing and treating pediatric diseases.Peter is a recognized leader in biomedical data science, genomics, and precision medicine. He holds the esteemed Battelle Endowed Chair in Quantitative and Computational Biology and a tenured Pediatrics professorship at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. His research program seeks to understand the genetic origins of disease, including rare genetic disorders, cardiovascular disease, and pediatric cancer. His acclaimed work has earned him numerous awards, significant NIH funding, and authorship of over 120 peer-reviewed publications.

Biography
CDR Peter Walker is a data scientist and academic leader in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He has been an advocate for innovation and change within the Navy. His leadership and keen eye towards organizational change has led to the adoption of a digital first mentality across the DoD. During the COVID pandemic, CDR Walker served as the Product Manager for Project Salus, the Department of Defenses data analytic platform for COVID. He helped to establish a multi-variate data pipeline to model issues such as disease spread, food shortages, and most recently the prioritization of vaccine distribution. CDR Walker is currently assigned to the Defense Health Agency as the Deputy Branch Chief for the Science and Technology Portfolio Management Branch and the Program Director for the Small Business Innovative Research and Small Business Technology Transition Program.
