Biography
Ruth has been a catalyst for change throughout her career, while always keeping the patient at the center of anything she does. In her current role, Ruth has been instrumental in the COVID-19 response planning for Quest Diagnostics and has also spearheaded the recently announced community health initiative geared towards leveling the playing field for health disparities in underserved populations due to COVID-19. Under her leadership Quest has successfully launched a wide variety of COVID testing options, both lab based testing (NAAT, Serology, Saliva PCR) as well as point of care antigen testing solutions. Prior to Quest she held several key management positions in the pharmaceutical industry at Novartis, Acorda, Bayer, Organon and Allergan. She holds an MSc in Pharmacy from University of Utrecht (The Netherlands).
