Biography
Lisa is a primary care physician and bioethicist. Prior to joining Google she served as Chief Medical Officer for the VA New England Healthcare System where she was responsible for clinical operations for eight healthcare systems throughout New England. Lisa has also served as Executive Director of the National Center for Ethics in Health Care for the Veterans Health Administration and Director of Bioethics at Brigham and Women’s Hospital in Boston, MA. Lisa is also Associate Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Associate Professor of Health Policy and Management at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
Talk
This talk presents a framework for the ethical integration of precision AI into clinical care. From governance structures to accountability mechanisms, we will explore how to embed ethics into the design of AI and provide guidance on what is necessary for the responsible deployment of precision AI in clinical settings.
