Biography
Dr. Chaz Langelier is an Associate Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases at UCSF. His work seeks to advance the understanding and management of pneumonia, sepsis, and other infectious and inflammatory diseases. His laboratory combines host gene expression profiling, metagenomic pathogen detection and profiling of the microbiome to develop novel molecular diagnostics, study hostpathogen biology, and advance methods for emerging infectious diseases surveillance.
