Session Abstract – PMWC 2022 Silicon Valley
The PMWC 2022 Wellness & Aging Showcase will provide a 15-minute time slot for selected companies in Wellness and Aging to present their latest technologies to an audience of leading investors, potential clients, and partners. We will hear from selected companies that build innovative solutions and harness the power of digital health, genomics, and data science with the goal to proactively prevent disease, maintain optimal health, and slow down aging.

Biography
Dr. Jennifer Lovejoy is a senior executive and biobehavioral scientist with deep experience in personalized medicine. During her academic career, Dr. Lovejoy held the Manship Endowed Professorship in Diabetes at LSU's Pennington Biomedical Research Center. She is a Past-President of the Obesity Society and has published over 80 peer-reviewed papers on her research. More recently, Dr. Lovejoy was Chief Translational Science Officer at Arivale, a precision medicine startup uniting systems biology and behavioral science to help consumers optimize wellness. Currently, she is the SVP, Head of Research at Calibrate, a company that combines FDA-approved weight loss medications with personalized lifestyle interventions to help individuals improve metabolic health.

Biography
Jamie earned her BS in chemistry from the University of Rochester and a MD from St. Louis University School of Medicine, where she also completed her pediatrics residency training. She then went on to Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Cancer Center in Houston to complete pediatric hematology/oncology fellowship training. She relocated to Indianapolis after completion of her training to join the faculty at Indiana University School of Medicine (IUSM) where she also earned a master’s degree in clinical research as part of the Clinical Investigator Training Enhancement Program. Jamie is the Caroline Symmes Professor of Pediatrics and Division Chief of Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at IUSM.

Biography
Dr. Spaeth is responsible for the development of clinical content and clinical rationale for GTG products. With a focus on transposing GTG’s cutting-edge approach to disease risk modeling into effortless yet actionable genetic-integrated information for both clinicians and patients, she is a cross-functional team member. She is involved in developing and executing commercial clinical research, pilot studies and managing academic research collaborations. She has wide experience in the high complexity laboratory space from assay development to regulatory oversight of laboratory developed tests in the oncology, infectious disease and inherited disease space. Her postdoctoral training was completed at MD Anderson Cancer Center where she focused on the role of the microenvironment in tumor progression. Erika holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Texas Health Science Center and a B.S. in Molecular Biology from the University of Connecticut.
